Bondi Beach Bar
Do you long for hot summers in Australia? Ostend has its own very small slice of the Gold Coast right on the beach in
Bondi Beach Bar. Bondi Beach Bar is a classy spot with a focus on sun, sand and sangria. You’ll find fantastic food and drink, with everything from local catches to international favourites. Their bar menu is extensive and caters to everyone from beer drinkers to lovers of lavish cocktails. Get there early to bag yourself a sun bed in a prime spot to catch some rays. You’ll often hear live music and DJs sets so you can spend a great afternoon into the evening catching up with friends in hot weather. You’ll find Bondi Beach Bar on the beach close to Casino Ostend. It opens from 26th May to11 September 2022.
Chiri Beach
Chiri, a reference to the traditional Chiringuito, is a beach bar where Ostend locals feel at home and tourists are charmed by that typical Ostend cosiness and hospitality. They offer a combination of local delicacies and delights, mixed with the charm and exotic tastes of a southern holiday. This is a beach bar where you can eat, drink and relax, catching up with friends with cocktails or reading your favourite novel with a glass of wine. Chiri is like a different bar every day, attracting young and old, party lovers and sun worshippers. You can enjoy local and international musical acts and is well-known for its strong Spanish influence in food, décor and music.
Marie-K Beach Bar
Marie-K Beach Bar is one of the best bars on the beach. They have a great menu filled with fresh drinks and cocktails, made to order by their friendly team. It’s probably the most child friendly summer bar on Ostend beach if you are travelling with your family and want to make the most of the beach vibes while keeping a close eye on them. It has a stylish bar with a relaxing lounge area, first aid post, clean toilets and a temporary beachfront terrace during the summer months where you can enjoy sports, evening dining, events and more. It’s the ideal way to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening on the beach.
Phare East

Phare East is a great spot on the beach for you. The renovated Ostend Sailing Club is on the beach at Oosteroever and is a great starting spot for many activities. Many beach and water sports start from here, such as sea rafting, kayaking, wave surfing, kiting, dune orientation, beach sports – perfect for adventure lovers of families filling up their summer holidays. In addition to the water sports and catamaran sailing, The Outsider Coast also organizes many fun activities for groups , sports camps and team buildings for companies. After the activities, you can spend a relaxing afternoon on the beach, sampling their refreshments and enjoy tasty food in the bar and bistro in the beach terrace. At the moment, the bar only opens on Saturday and Sunday but keep an eye on their website for the latest opening hours.
